About Practitioner

I am Eunhwa Ko, born and raised in South-Korea where Chinese Medicine is widely practiced. Prior to my career as an acupuncturist and herbalist I worked as a nurse for a decade.

In 2009 I completed a degree course in acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading, UK, and have since practiced both Five Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I also hold a Masters degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine (Westminster University) and several qualifications in related disciplines, including Tui-Na (acupressure), ear candling, Indian head massage, natural face-lift massage. As part of treatments I use various other techniques where appropriate, including ear-acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion (heat therapy).

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RHCM) which demands high educational standards for admission and upholds stringent professional rules on safety and compliance, with a professional code of conduct.

I am also a member of the ACT London(Acupuncture Childbirth team in London. As a team we focus on continuing professional development and mutual support. We maintain high standards through ongoing training in gynaecology, fertility and obstetrics.
